Thursday 26 April, 7.30pm in the Kerikeri High School Library.
Kerikeri High School would like to extend an invitation to all staff, parents and volunteers who are involved and interested in Sport at Kerikeri High School to a forum on Sport in our school.
The purpose of the forum is to cover many of the school processes involved with sport, and to offer an opportunity for a question and answer/suggestion session. There will also be an opportunity to contribute to the current review of the Sports Department.
The PTA would appreciate volunteers to help receipt and count workday money at the school on the mornings of Tuesday 1 May, Wednesday 2 May and Thursday 3 May from about 9.30 am. Any time you can give on those mornings would be much appreciated. If you can help please advise the PTA Secretary, Justine Strang, by emailing her at the PTA Secretary link on this website. Thank you very much.
Hannah Weatherup, Lucy Ellingham, Alisdair Brooks, and Nik Black are the NZ Champions for Global Issues Problem Solving. After winning the middle division of the national competition in 2011, they are working hard, not only to compete at the International FPS Conference, but also fundraising to get to Bloomington, Indiana, USA. This is a wonderful opportunity for these students and they would really appreciate the support of the community.
There will be a Trivia Night fundraiser on Friday 23rd March 7.30pm at Riverview School Hall. Get a team together for a fun night out, and help send our middle division NZ Champion Future Problem Solvers to the International Competition in the USA. $60 per table, maximum 8 per team. Bar and snacks available. For bookings phone Deborah on 4077065. Flyer here
Kerikeri High School reopens today, Tuesday 20 March. Normal classes will take place and buses will run as normal.
It is our understanding that Kerikeri Primary School and Riverview Primary School will both be open today also.
We thank parents and caregivers for their support and prompt responses to the bad weather situation we were faced with yesterday.
Kerikeri High School has been closed today due to heavy rain and flooding.
Buses will operate from 12:00pm on the usual routes. Students will only be allowed on their bus if the school has received confirmation from parents or guardians.
Students leaving on foot will only be released if the school has received confirmation from parents or guardians.
All remaining students will be held in the Gym until picked up or other arrangements have been made.
At this stage the school will re-open tomorrow. If the bad weather continues and a decision is made to remain closed, a further notice will be posted here and announcements made on local radio stations.
